Sign In and Get Access

For client signup, invitations, access to multiple churches, and site-specific technician roles, see the Client maintenance portal.

Staff work requires a company membership. Client portal access instead links your Plenum account to client records, without making you a staff member or requiring you to create a company. One account can have both relationships.

If you are joining an existing team

Do not create a new company. Ask a company owner or Administrator to invite the email address you use for your Plenum account.

  1. Open the invitation from your email.
  2. Sign in or create the requested account.
  3. Make sure you use the exact email address named in the invitation.
  4. Accept the invitation.
  5. Return to Fugara. If the company does not appear immediately, choose I accepted an invite — check again.

Invitations expire after seven days. If an invitation has expired, or was sent to a different address, ask an Administrator for a new invitation. An invitation cannot be accepted while signed in as a different email address.

If you are creating a separate company

Choose Set up a new company only when you are creating a new business or independent organization in Fugara. You will become its owner and can invite other people afterward.

See Set up a company before choosing between normal multi-client mode and single-client mode.

Access types describe what a person can do

Fugara does not require a particular team structure. The same access type can be used differently in a one-person business and a large service company.

Company access typePractical use
AdministratorCan manage the company, people, plans, clients, work, logs, reporting, and billing. Use this for an owner, manager, or office employee who must also administer company access.
TechnicianCan work across all clients and their operational records but cannot manage the company itself. Despite the name, this can also suit trusted office staff who need company-wide client, scheduling, reporting, or billing work without access administration.
ContractorCan edit only the selected clients assigned to them. This is useful for a field worker who should not see the entire client list.
Site technicianStaff access to selected sites, including scheduling, work, reports, and billing, without company administration.

Client portal access is managed separately in each client's login settings, is free, and does not count toward the staff subscription limit. A staff member can also hold client portal links using the same account.

There is no separate “Secretary” access type. Choose Administrator when the person must invite or remove users, manage plans, or change company settings. Choose Technician when the person needs company-wide operational access but should not manage the company. A company owner can change a contractor's client assignments later.

Your access is specific to each company. You can have different responsibilities and permissions in another company.

Select the right company before working

If you belong to several companies, use Active Company at the bottom of the side menu. The client list, calendar, work types, invoices, and reports all belong to the active company.

Before adding or changing a record, check the company name in the side menu. This avoids recording a visit or invoice in the wrong company.

Understand view-only access

A contractor or client may be assigned only certain clients. An assigned client can also be view-only.

With view-only access, you can review the client record but cannot add an instrument, schedule work, use Work Tracker, or change logs. Ask a company Administrator to grant edit access if those tasks are part of your work.

If a page or button is missing

First check:

  1. Is the correct company active?
  2. Are you assigned to the client?
  3. Do you have edit access to the client?
  4. Does the action require Administrator access?
  5. Does the company plan include the feature?

For a task-by-task list, see Common problems.

Use client access

If you were invited as a Client, open your assigned client or site to review the information shared with you. Your company Administrator separately controls access to appointments, published service reports, invoices, and contact management. Billing access is off unless it has been explicitly enabled.

To read a report, open Service Reports, choose the published report, then use View/Print or Download PDF when available. If the delivery shows Acknowledge Receipt, choose it after receiving the report. Acknowledging a report does not pay an invoice.

Contact email subscriptions and login access are separate: receiving a report email does not by itself give you access to the client in Fugara. Use the appointment and payment options actually offered in your account or message; ask the service company when a needed option is missing.
