Dashboard and Planning

The Dashboard brings together upcoming work, reminders, alerts, setup tasks, and company statistics. What appears depends on the active company, your access, and the records available.

Start the day's work

Review upcoming visits for the client, instrument, date, and goals. Choose Details to open the shared work record. For a visit assigned to you, choose Start Tracker to begin tracking it. If another tracker is already running, finish or return to that tracker first.

For tuning work, the visit card may show the last published pitch reference for that instrument. Use it as background for today's visit. It does not enter a new measurement into today's report.

Follow reminders and alerts

  • Maintenance Visit Reminders: choose Add Work Session to arrange a visit, Work History to review the client, or Hide This Time to dismiss this occurrence. A reminder alone does not book an appointment.
  • Monitoring alerts: review the condition and choose Mark read after reading it. This changes your read status, not the measured condition.
  • Completed work: HVAC settings need review: choose Review / restore HVAC to inspect the saved settings and decide whether to restore them.
  • Setup prompts: follow the suggested action to add missing clients, instruments, or access. Optional steps can be dismissed and completed later from their normal pages.

See Monitoring alerts and HVAC preparation for the full workflows.

Review active tracked work

Company owners and Administrators can review Active tracked work on the Dashboard. Select a person's tracker to see the current task, completed tasks, materials, notes, and connected work session.

If you need to finish it for that person, confirm their actual stopping time and make sure their device has synchronized. Review the current task, its type, end time, mileage, and required Outcome, then use the end-and-submit action. An empty current task can be omitted; completed tasks remain. Unneeded tracked materials or notes can be removed from this review before submission.

This submits the person's logs. The shared work session still needs Complete after all participants have finished. Changes still stored only on another person's offline device will not yet appear in this review.

Read company statistics

The work-type chart and Time & Productivity figures summarize recorded work. Total logged includes travel; Working excludes it. Productive reflects the productive time recorded in the logs. Overall productivity includes travel in the comparison, while on-site productivity excludes travel.

Sessions shows the number and first/latest dates of work sessions. Mileage shows recorded miles, averages, and price per mile. Choose a Year or All Time above the mileage chart to change the mileage period.

Choose Compare With Others to compare your company's productivity, average working time, and mileage with Fugara's overall figures. These are broad benchmarks; the mix of work and the completeness of logged records affect them.

Estimate time for a job

Open Job Time Estimator on the Dashboard:

  1. Enter a task description and confirm its suggested Type.
  2. Enter Productive Hours for that task across the whole crew. For example, two people doing two hours of productive work each is four productive hours.
  3. Choose Add Task for each additional part of the job; remove unused rows.
  4. Set Crew Size and Hours / Person / Day. Leaving daily hours blank uses the historical average shown by Fugara.
  5. Set Planning Buffer to allow for uncertainty.
  6. For On-site work, enter Miles To Client (one-way) when known. Turn on-site work off when travel should be excluded.
  7. Review Estimated Labor Hours, Estimated Workdays, setup/cleanup, travel, and History Confidence.

Fugara adds an allowance for non-productive time, setup/cleanup, and travel using the company's history. Small or missing samples use conservative defaults. With a distance entered, travel assumes one round trip per workday and counts each crew member's time. Without a distance, it uses the historical travel ratio.

Review any warning that travel fills the workday. Task types organize the estimate without changing the hours you entered. The result is a planning aid; it does not schedule a visit, create logs, or create an invoice. Use Calendar to arrange the work afterward.
